New Work!
I did this piece to act as a protest poster and to bring attention to the problem of the oil pipeline and oil tankers that are proposed to bring oil from the tar sands, all the way to the BC coast. The pipeline and tankers are very dangerous and would disrupt untouched land.
I was really inspired by the documentary “Stand Up 4 Great Bear”, which gives a lot of insight about the issue of the pipeline and tankers. Here’s the link to watch the documentary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAnRFd3jBqQ&feature=related
Be sure to check out the OCAD graduation show, which opens on May 3rd 2012. The show opens on thursday evening and then runs all weekend. It’s always an awesome show, so come by and say hi and check out my work!
